                    Question

I have a question I would ask of all.
How do you deal with a girl too tall?
She always looks down and I up in stare,
We're only equal when we sit in a chair.

It's fine when we eat and I, in a seat.
We talk and we laugh, it's really a treat.
The bad part comes when we stand up straight,
That's the part gets me and I really hate.

But it's not that bad I must confess,
For there are times when we both undress.
And lying in bed just nullifies all,
Forget about tall, I thank God I am small.

On second thought, forget your suggestions,
Thinking on it, I withdraw the question.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
you did me in with this one...cant even type for laughing... and YES, I cant wait till Balladeer replies LOL...
you slay me Sy

To be short can be a pain, tis true
but it don't seem to be a real hinderence to you.
What you may lack in lofty height...
you make up for in poetic might.
NOW get your eyes OUT of there,
didnt you mother teach you not to stare?
While you think you may have the best view...
you better be careful...
those babies are loaded and pointing at you!!!

More poems please
For I can not do with just a taste

I loved it!

No questions asked
No answers given
The point is made
Succinctly driven
One little question
Of bemuse
Who in the heck is
This poet's muse

WELL DONE!  I really enjoyed the whole thing. I am glad that you finaly came to your senses in the end. All kidding aside, through the years I have seen the truth of, "Beauty is skin deep but uglyness goes to the bone."  I now close my eyes and look HARD at the heart before forming an opinion.

Seymour, I enjoyed this lightheaded-er-hearted piece of whimsy. Delightful, naturally, as is always your poetic indicia.

You know I never read those guidlines but I bet there is something in there against what I was gonna say...

Anyways... loved it.  Laughed the whole way through it.  I'd write a witty cryptic response but I'm not tht tallented as of yet.

"We always said it would be good to go away, someday,
but if there's nothing there to make things change,
if it's the same to you I'll just hang."

Well, I know you withdrew the question but I still must say - they can never be TOO tall if you ask me.  Great poem, Sy.
