I call to you... You hear not my soulful plea. I'm left to perservere- In a world so cruel it seems. I cry for you... My tears falling on barren ground. Tears with the weight of the world- Forever coming down. My need for you... Grows stronger everyday. My lover, my constant friend- Return once more I pray. My love for you... Forever here remains. Thus my falling tears- Fall forever like longing rain. "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind; And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blind." The Bard |

marie...girl this is excellent the ryhme flow is like butter!!(smile) and the poems emotions are so sweet and perfect.very nice work here. and yes, the last line...PERFECT...Im so glad you didnt take it away too! take care, jm The stars shine so bright, now's the time I close my eyes - soft wind touch my face, Cool sand upon the place where I once kissed you And held you close.
