Six months
written by miss abagail mannering
3/7/2000

They say time passes quickly
when you're having fun.
How true that statement is
for, it's like we've just begun.

The road of life
has it's twists and turns..
and there are times
when we get burned.

But in the end
it works out well,
For, if never we were hurt,
in love we'd ne'er have fell.

It's been six months,
such a short, long time...
and sometimes it feels
like an all uphill climb...

yet, the trials and tribulations
make it all worthwhile
when you hold me close
and make me smile.

Our love for each other
continues to grow...
It can survive obsticals
from friend or foe.

When i think of forever,
i thnk of you...
and I await the day
when we say, "I do."

'Til that magical moment
when our lives are complete...
I'll make my impatience
take a back seat.

written for my sweetheart...we celebrate 6 months on March 18th..(this was written in 7 minutes.)

Very beautiful! I don't think I've ever written anything that quickly!
