Promise Rings
4/5/2000
By Miss Abagail Mannering

With this Promise ring I say,
"I Promise to love you everyday...
from pre-dawn through the midnight hour,
on the phone or in the shower...

"To honor vows we've yet to speak,
to express the love I feel so deep...
To let you know how much I care,
and that my life, with you, i'll share...

"I Promise to always hold you tight,
whether you are wrong or right...
whether we are rich or poor,
'til we breathe nevermore..."

Dedicated to my Loving Richard, to commemorate the
Promises we exchanged along with the Promise Rings.
(This is not meant to have any sexual connotations,
but it was brought to my attention that it may be
taken that way.)

"Some people aren't worth a puddle of ant pee in the middle of a dessert when it's 100 degrees in the shade." -me
