Every reason All my plans seemed to let me down soon after reason and resolve cast some doubt around. A life now formulated into a mess busyness accumulating and storing stress. Problems that seemed all worked out. Choices planned beyond a doubt. A sudden change of thought to my dismay causing me to observe my life another way. Only because every reason I had supplied could not resolve my hearts sad lonely cry. A question follows requiring an answer only I can supply. Should I break up if Love isn't a delight or stay together and try to make things right? I can only say that I have every reason to go on with my life but my resolve seems to be saying stay and fight. Jameslee@April6,2000 |

sweetbabyjames...only your heart can answer these questions...matters of the heart, they are the ones that we doubt our selves the most on, your so right. I always follow my heart, not my head...you too, I think(smile) perfect poem james, take care,jm The stars shine so bright, now's the time I close my eyes - soft wind touch my face, Cool sand upon the place where I once kissed you And held you close. Now I will reach for the stars... Because Oh my love, that's where you are... Though the storms of black night rage on I still see your face I still feel your lips on mine And though my heart feels all alone without you I still hear you sing to me I still hear your voice on the sea... vertical horizon |

-James Boy could I relate to this one! All I can say is and Janet already said it LOL...follow your heart. Whateverr is meant to be, will be. Loved the poem. This is one of your best James. I think everyone has asked themselves this question in a relationship at some point. I guess we have to ask ourselves because we are the only ones with the answer. Should you choose to let it go.....I could always use a wonderful poet in my life!! Marina |

Thank you Janet, Amy, Denise, and Marina for reading my poem and commenting. Janet thank you for saying this is a perfect poem. Amy I will try to follow my heart but an inner struggle is going on and I myself am not sure what the outcome will be...although I have a pretty good idea. And yet which choice will be the best for both of us and ultimately which will be the best for me. Thank you Denise for saying this is very well done.
