Hearken ye lads and lasses to the tale that I tell
'Bout a young lad born nigh in yon dell
Though Daniel be his giv'n name, 'twas a name that wouldn't stick
The villagers called him "Tiny" and it stayed with him like a tick!!

Though Tiny was his nickname, tiny he was not!
Seven feet tall with arms like ropes, he was as big as they got!
He could have been a warrior and lived a life of renown
But instead he was farmer and poet, the best in our little town.

Night after night he would thrill with his tales of love and war
And every night from the villagers would come cries of "More!"
Every day, new and amazing words would flow from his pen
And then every night he would take them away yet again.

Then came the day where Tiny's pen fell strangely silent
At least he passed in peace and not on the field of violence
And if ye go to that small village down in yon dell
You'll see his tombstone that reads in part, "Here lies our poet, our Tiny. . . our Daniel."

*applauds* You've done it again, Sven...I liked this one so much, and what a sad ending...

Sven....nice work.  Very sweet yet sad.  Fitting end for a great man.  Excellent...

Sven,

That was wonderful.  So talented you truly are.  I loved it.
