I wish you saw me the way that I see me
Broken and worn with the days of before
I wish that you could look inside my heart
Feel the pain that I feel
I wish that there were more time for us
So you could see the way I bleed
I wish that you could understand
That I’m lonely inside my head
I wish that there were space for me
Somewhere in your heart
I wish that you were here with me
To share in the joy and that I feel
I wish that everything were as perfect as before
If I try I know that I can make it better
I wish that we were rich
Money beyond compare
I wish that I could make you happy
Just like before
I wish that your struggles would disappear
Vanish before your eyes
I wish to be your one and only
But wishes are like lies
No matter what I say or do
No matter how much I wish
I know that wish never come true
So I’ll have to just sit here and cry

Love,
Lady

My dear friend, you do not post often enough.  You remember the old looney toons cartoons?...the one with the witch that cackles and then darts off, leaving only bobby pins behind?...yeah, that was me a minute ago when I saw your name gracing the forums (I was in such a hurry to read what you posted, and all!!).     (yeah, I'm a nut)

Athough I don't know what inspired this poem, I can honestly say right now that parts of it read as if you took them straight from my heart. Have you been reading my mind again, miss?  lol  Good to see you posting in here, don't let it go so long next time!!

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

Satiate...I think I'll pass on the obvious comparison about Broomhilda *ROFL*  j/k

Ladycat, my friend for many years, I can tell your hormones have been raging again....and through such rage have you produced a very poignant, heartfelt message, about time spent with a loved one, or the lack thereof.  Thank you for opening up, and for sharing this with us...It's been a very long time since last you posted.

Ladycat,

I think there is a time in all our lives that we wish we could recapture the past to forget the present.  Unfortunately, that hardly ever seems to happen.  Nice work.

Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end.

Are you sure that she just cracked it over your head? hehe.. I'm too far away to see what happened it, but I'm sure that you are in more pain than that.. I'm glad that I don't live near either of you.. I would hate to wake up in the morning sore.. hahahaha..

Love,
Lady

Cat stay away from my hills..
