Tumble Weed

A tumbleweed just passed me by
silly thing just said hi.

I tried to stop him but he just
kept going right on by.

He yelled back to me Iím spreading
my love around this town,
Iíll stop and talk next time around.

Heís in a hurry to spread his seeds of joy to all
those who do not see the pleasure
in a tumbleweed.

Silly thing he is, I canít wait that long for him,
doesnít he know the next time heís going to be
around it will be next springtime
in this town.

cute, sweet poem...nice to see this side of you too..enjoying the whimsy and rhyme.
take care, jm

...when you walked into the room, I saw their faces,
you made it feel like time was standing still...and I felt fascination...
then you turned and smiled in my direction...
and my heart...gave me away.

Hi Janet,

Yes I can be very silly, I must be to write a poem about a tumble weed. I just passed that same weed alittle bit ago and laughed because if it only knew that it was now on the inner net I bet it would stop and chat ha.

Thank you for your reply,

Cerenity

Well, there's a lot that can be read into this light hearted poem.  I loved it.  I like the ending too, got somewhere else to be do ya?

We like silly in this forum. After all the tears we shed it is so refreshing. And this was delightful

Cerenity~
I think you just blew
through my town
Spreading laughter
all around
Do not wait
until next Spring
Tumble again
little tumbleweed of sing !

I liked the lightheartedness
of this little gem.

Michael, You know I did not see the different ways this could go.

Liz,  Yes you are right we/I do need alittle more sillyness.

Marge, You should see the real poor little tumbleweed now he's not going anywere, and I didn't do it.

Thank you for your replys,
