To Dean, With Love He Sleeps As I sit here thinking of him He sleeps And I wonder is he dreaming? Is he dreaming of us And all that we are going to do All that we will share Our lives, our love As he sleeps I think about how it will feel Lying next to him Our bodies pressed to each other The warmth of his breath On the curve of my neck His arms around me Holding me tight His chest against my back Feeling the rhythmic beating Of his heart At the very thought of Being next to him My heart races My body tingles I feel that familiar feeling Longing for his touch His sweet caresses And his passionate kisses I close my eyes I feel him near me I feel him inside my soul Where did he come from? This beautiful man before me And am I deserving Of such a love like this I love him completely He is my life, my love, my everything As he sleeps I love you baby, with all my heart Cher |

You know...I feel the same exact way when I lay down to sleep with my boyfriend. That warm and fuzzy just totally fills me up inside. I love this poem and I will more than likely keep it in my personal archives (A place dedicated to those poets who inspire me, whether famous or not yet known...) so I can look back and always remember what it felt like. Good work and a heartfelt welcome to Passions!!! Hope to see a LOT more from you soon |

All i can say is WOW!!! Thank you all so much for your kind words and for the warm welcome...but i must give credit where credit is due...to the love of my life...Dean...he is my inspiration. I love you Dean. Again thank you all so much I truly look forward to reading the thoughts and feelings of others...i have browsed in here and what can I say but Bravo!!!!
