Best Friend of Mine By: Amy M. Kennedy The sky opened up Down came the falling rain An angel descended upon me I've never been the same A ray of sunlight fell across my face As heaven above gave you to me Giving me the most precious gift I've ever had in year twenty-three I hold you close to my heart, best friend Our friendship, never will it end You give me the hope to dream The drive to succeed I cherish what we have You are my best friend indeed Whether right by my side, or miles apart I have all the memories Tucked away in my heart You listen with your heart And never laugh at me Amy and Laura, best friends...you & me. ~Live today as though it were your last but prepare for tomorrow as though it were here~ |
