Judge With Clear Insight

The authenticity of ones self
is measured by his repetition
of deeds done. As humans we
measure are progress forward
by things gained, weather
mentally or possessed.

Onlooker’s view only from what
their eye can see and the brain
can clearly understand. But to
the human eye there is not the
possibility  to see ones soul.

The world goes about prophesying
and blaming their brothers for
what they do not see clearly, or
could never understand unless
revealed to them with wisdom
and insight.

To possess a real measure of
understanding we must, always
see and have clear authority on
  the picture before us.

The understanding of others
mentality and abilities lie’s
with in us all, if we would
but just stop for a moment
and pay due attention to
those around us with wisdom
and judge nobody but our
own lack of clear foresight.

Could anything be any truer? I think not. Beautiful poem. Such honesty. Keep it up, I love reading! Eye candy...mmmm....good!

I like this... Rings loud and true in my ears.  I can completely understand the importance of having knowledge before passing judgement...  This would be a good thing for all of us to practice more often, especially myself.  =P

Wisdom and prose combined.  Nice combination.
Well done.

It is so strange, but I find that I can't even make judgements on those I think I know very well. And many friends and even family members have told me that they never knew me until they read my poetry. I'm sure many poets have had that experience. I liked your poem
A lot of insight on your part

The stars shine so bright, now's the time
I close my eyes - soft wind touch my face,
Cool sand upon the place where I once kissed you
And held you close.
Now I will reach for the stars...
Because Oh my love, that's where you are...
Though the storms of black night rage on
I still see your face
I still feel your lips on mine
And though my heart feels all alone without you
I still hear you sing to me
I still hear your voice on the sea...

Hi Liz,
You said something that is true in my life to. I don't judge anyone and some times I should asert myself, but nobody in my life knows me or how I feel or what I think and they don't seem to want to know either, but here I can express myself and freely so they are the ones that are missing out.

Hi Denise,

Wise words, I keep poping this kind of stuff out and I don't know why, its very hard for me to write about love or funny things, maybe its because life is so hard, some times I feel like everyone is going to shy away from my poetry because its always so deep and strange.

Hi Janet,

Words of wisdom, yes I have had plenty of lessons in my life and repeating I do until some thing is hammerd in to my head but I get the point some where down the line.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words and thoughts,

Cerenity

Cerenity,

You have outdone yourself with this one.  I try to isolate the truth when I write and you have accomplished that here. Very well done!
