Just The Mention Of Your Name
~*Marge Tindal*~

Just the mention of your name
ignites the embers once again
Leaping into raging flame
at just the mention of your name

Cold the smolder of the past
Passion's fire that did not last
Ashen now the burned remains
at just the mention of your name

From within there comes a doubt
that this fire has not burned out
You return and I'm not the same
with just the mention of your name

Hotter still the passion grows
Burning me with ecstasy's glow
I've no one but myself to blame
for falling in love all over again
at just the mention of your name

Isn't it amazing what a simple thing as the mention of a name can do to us? Well said, Marge!

Wow, Marge this is excellent!  I am in a place right now where the exact same thing is happening to me.  Thanks for sharing this piece!  It's true just by a little reminder or by the mention of his name, it can rekindle old feelings and bring buried memories to life once again.

Take care,

Oh, I can't let it go at that........

Yes, the mention of your name
Lights again that dying flame
How my heart within me swells
Your name sounds and I hear bells
I recall those many hours
With you in your ivory tower
I smile and whisper to your photo
"I love you. Take me, Quasimoto!!!"

Balladeer~
I don't remember doing Rumplestiltskin ...
but sometimes a gal just loses track.
SO MANY MEN ... SO LITTLE TIME !

Elizabeth~
Oh, yeah ...
Just the mention of his name
sends me cowering for shame !

Balladeer-AGAIN !
Oh?  That was your HEART swelling ?
Coulda' fooled me.
Now that 'Quasi' with his lump ...
he could really, really
(I'll e-mail you)
LOL !

Elizabeth, my friend~
COVER YOUR EYES !
Balladeer and I are being naughty. (again)
Thank you love for the read.

ButterfliesDC~
LOL !
Give Balladeer back his thumb!
So glad you enjoyed it.
This WAS a romantic render
until Balladeer got it cranked up
to bombastic laughter degree.

When the passions was there it's hard to forget.
Marge this was truly a wonderful read and it made my heart flutter bringing back some memories of past loves. I can relate, even the mention of a name can make your heart skip a beat.

Very beautiful Marge!  A name, a single person can do so much to us.  Exellent, I loved it!  (and LOL at Balladeer's reply and your response!)
