It's a feeling A longing A wanting It's something you feel you need Something you need to feel complete To fill the hole To fulfill your soul It's perfect Your every dream Your soul desire It is flesh It is mind Something you knew you'd eventually find You know it's there But yet, it's not yours And it may never be It's on a different level A higher level One you cannot reach You can almost touch it with the tip of your fingers, but only if standing on the very tip of your toes, and once your fingertips brush it ever so lightly your legs give out and you fall back onto where you started from... Back to reality And even though you know you may never have it To hold To touch It's something you know you'll always desire Forever So much |
