A poem from Butterflies_dont_cry sparked a memory ... dug this up from the dust bunnies ... seems kind of lame to me now ... but here it is anyway  Our Blue Lagoon ~~~  We can search the sky forever even turn up every rock We can beat the bushes to a pulp ... true love will never dock ... ~ We have to learn to love ourselves not write it in the sky We have to find a simple way ... to shine it in their eye ... ~ Once we learn to love ourselves our spirit proud and free Then we'll have a Blue Lagoon ... to coax our ship from sea ... ~~~ I'm not ugly! I'm just visually challenged! |

I could revise some of them a little Denise ... thankyou for always reading my poems and you kind replies tracie ... thankyou ... But I still don't think it's nearly as good as the poems that all you people write ... I usually just write comedy or sometimes a little on the dark side of reality |
