Tree Cops
~~~
Cries  of  distress
scream  through  my  daydream
From  warning  shrieks  in  the  treetops
~
No  mortal  being
can explain  the  mystery
Mother  Nature  installs  in  her  treecops
~
Robins  of  spring
rally  round  a  war-cry
Sparows  and  Finches  with  warning  take  flight
~
One  Robins  plight
now  gathers  a  melee
With  dive-bombing  Starlings  joining  the  fight
~
One  eyebrow  raised
I  head  for  the  garden
The  mystery  is  guiding  my  steps
~
But  I'll  never  know
the  cause  of  the  show
I  scared  off  the  actors  I  guess
~~~

 I'm not ugly!
I'm just visually challenged!

Like the thoughts here and the title.  Too bad they can't write tickets.

I love the sound usually, but sometimes at 6Am, the crow's arguing is way too much.  I really enjoyed reading your poem!
