"I Do"...When we were brandnew
"I Do"...While the wind blew
"I Do"...Before I was blue
"I Do"...As I stood next to you
"I Do"...Right on my Cue
"I Do"...With the boquet I threw
"I Do"...As my uncertainty grew
"I Do"...As our child turned two
"I Do"...Oh, how time flew
"I Do"...Because I never Knew
"I Do"...Before I had a Clue
"I Do"...Now what do I do
"I Do"...How I wish this were true

Something a tad bit different and it just sort of "happened" so I thought I would share it.

Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules
Do you care what is thought by others about you
If this day is all that is promised to you
Do you live for the present, the future the past...

My heart goes out to you...I was told this weekend that most couples say "I do" when they haven't got a clue....that inspired this as well as the many feelings that are running around inside.  **Angel Wing Hugs**

Mete~  Thank you for your words that are always so kind! And don't worry, as long as you keep in mind that marriage may require a little work now and then you'll do great!! Congratulations

Hi Butterflies_Dont_Cry....once again you hit the mark with some familiar emotions"

"I Do"...Oh, how time flew
"I Do"...Because I never Knew
"I Do"...Before I had a Clue
"I Do"...Now what do I do

In my experience some of the best stuff "just happens".

Butterflies. . . I would say that you have hit a nerve with a lot of people. . . I like the take you had with this one. . . most people say, "I do, do you?". . .you dare to ask the question, "Ok, now what?"

Excellent words, my friend. . .

Very touching, and oh so true!
Many people have been through this (myself included   !
Lovely poem, and true to the very core!  As always, you amaze me, dear!

and I am all the better for it~
