The rose pedels are red,
They lay perfectly across the bed.
In hope, and aniticpation,
of soon being distrubed.

They hope to fly into the air.
To fly free, without a care.
To be sprung loose and away,
Throughout the night and day.

They want to feel the love of two,
Move around on them like it's new.
They want to watch from all around,
These new lovers love and hold.

But these flowers know not the lie,
That the people hold so true.
They may soar, they may fly high,
But if they knew the truth, they would turn blue.

For what the flowers are blind to see,
Are that these new lovers, are old lovers indeed.

They before have never loved,
For there is another at home,
Who is waiting to love them more.

What the pedels see is passion,
Romance,
Power,
Attraction.

---------------

The rose pedels are red,
They lay perfectly across the bed.
In hope, and aniticpation,
of soon being distrubed.

But these pedels, they do not move.
For the person who spread them is not around.
They are sitting in front of the tube.
For the one that they need to hold,
Is busy, distrubing someone else's rose pedels.

This is a pretty good attempt here...some of the words are misspelled, so you may want to work on that. If I can be of any help please call on me! Keep writing!

Try writing your poems in a word processor and running them through a spell check before posting...I am notirious for spelling mistakes so do all of mine that way. I'd like to find a chat program that has spell check   Little things like that can distract from a good poem. Looking forward to reading some others

Very sad poem. I'm sure it happens more often than I'd like to think.

Nice poem....sad that things like that happen everyday to innocent people though.

i know that the spelling mistakes are there.... i choose to express myself through them.. as we are all imperfect... i close my eyes and write... if i miss a key, i cannot correct it.... because it would no longer have be written in the moment
