Samson had Delilah
Who betrayed him with her spiel.
Road Runner had Coyote out
To have him for a meal.
Holmes had Moriarty
As his ever-present foe.
Batman had the Joker...
Here at Passions - we've got Toe.

Mighty oaks have dry-rot,
Orchids get a fungus.
That pales by comparison
To what we have among us.
Heads of hair have bald spots
We comb so it doesn't show.
Titanic had the iceberg....
Here at Passions - we've got Toe.

Ain't it strange how Mother Nature
Loves to mix and match?
Throw a fly in every ointment
Just to see us scratch?

Oceans have pollution.
Dogs and cats come down with fleas.
What we have is so much worse
Than any one of these...
Tweety had that "puddy tat"
To fill his life with woe
Riding Hood had big, bad wolf..
At Passions - we've got Toe!!

Lol! I love this poem. Even though I dont know Toerag as much as the lot of you, it made me laugh none the less.

What a low blow, for dear ol' Toe
Now sly Deer had better watch his rear
For we all know, that dear ol' Toe
Will come strong, it wont be long

Excellent work Balladeer

Balladeer~
LOL !

Oh, sure we've got the TOE,
that dreaded fool of late,
but we just call on Balladeer
to EXTERMINATE !

I fear that there may be
an epidemic outbreak
I mean for goodness sake ...
how many TOES can you take ?

*You guys send us into gales of laughter !
Keep it going.  Where's LongJohn?

And is there even one among us
('Cept perhaps that Balladeer *G*)
Who isn't grateful to proclaim
That we have Toe at Passions here???!!!

Growing up, I was quite perfect
(Or so I thought, heaven knows! *G*)
But now I know how sadly lacking
I was having only ten toes!

Mr. Toerag is the kindest
Gentleman you'll ever meet
Just one Toe makes this heart flutter
Forget those ten upon my feet! LOL

Thanks for the grins, Balladeer... now if you could only persuade your ever present foe to be ever present? Please? *G*

Sir Balladeer - "the way to go"
Your verse just can't be beat..
But I do fear that you should know
Toerag won't have de-feet...

It's not that Toe's a bad guy,
Just think what you would do,
If you had to spend your life,
Inside a smelly shoe.

No wonder when he gets out here,
He has to raise a rukus,
And I can't write the closing line,
Or else it would be censored...

Nice shot deer...

It's Balladeer on never fear
And Toerag on a bottle of beer.
Their in the stretch neck and damn.
To win the race of, flimflam.
My money is on neither one.
I'd rather just enjoy the fun.

One for Balladeer.

Chuckles and thanks to you all

Southern girl, I can answer that question easy. NOBODY here is unhappy that we have the Toe-man, old Balladeer included.

Hey, Toe! You see that? I made nice. You wouldn't take revenge on a man that said nice things about you, would ya? I mean, to forgive is devine, yanno???

Southern girl....I'd love to have him ever-present but he's smart enough to know that a moving target is much harder to hit

Every foot should have its big Toe
To keep the balance oh just so
Cause if that big Toe were not there
We'd be falling down everywhere
So be thankful for our big Toe
Whom with out there would be no show
No balance for Balladeer's wit
No one to play the true misfit.

Thanks for being there Toe!

Every family has a black sheep
We've got two, I fear
Who write in sparring verses
We've got Toe and Balladeer

Every barrel has bad apples
We've got two I know
Who poke each other's soft spots
We've got Balladeer and Toe

Every forum has some comics
Ours were clowns before they knew us
They add some color to this place
We've got Martin and Lewis

Do you care what is thought by others about you

Yeah yeah and every sock has at least one hole otherwise you'd never get your foot in it so I should ask about this anonymous rag and what's it for anyway. I'm sure everyone would like to hear the yarn.
