Ah, here's a challenge You all may say What challenge does she Have for us today? They'll be a lot Of writing to do Because I ask what Passions Has meant to all of you Ok, there's the challenge... my very first. Write a poem about what Passions has meant to you! OK, here's mine! I forget how I found it But I don’t really care Because it’s a part of my life It will always be there At first, all I did was read Then the poet began to grow Then I wrote, and finally posted They said it was good! What do ya know? Friends are very easy to make In a friendly place like this There are so many of you here Your friendship is such bliss And then, something happened I made a new best friend Yes, that what you are, Liz My friend, until the end I made many other friends, too Like Mistikman and Jer Whenever I need someone to talk to I know they will always be there Although I haven’t been here long Passions has helped me with hard times You also taught me about free-form And better ways to rhyme Whenever you make a wonderful post Sometimes, you may never know How much it has touched me Through your poetry, I grow And, whenever live is too much When I can’t take it anymore I visit my Passion’s family And I’m better than ever before! Passions in Poetry Passions, to me, is a great place to be. When I found it I was alone, But now it is my family. A family that shares and is willing to listen, A collection of poems that, like diamonds, glisten. When I am here, I feel so warm, This is the best place to shelter from life’s storms. No one has laughed at my poor attempts at poetry, Have you any idea how much that means to me? Passions is my second home, I hope that doesn’t sound lame, It warms me within like a bright, glowing flame. Ron, you are an angel, how did you create such a wonderful place... Free from prejudice of colour, size. looks or race. Every time I visit my heart starts to sing, This haven truly has given my soul wings. I have laughed, I have cried, I have smiled, I have sighed. About my feelings I have never had to lie. Passions is a gift that fills me with delight, From life’s burdens it gives me respite. Passions, for me, has opened a door, It has a special place in my heart for evermore. I love you Passions!!! I love all you wonderful poets who have shared such beautiful poetry, I can never thank you all enough. Love to everybody |

Passions=Solace Tenderness Hope Jump on my back I'll give you a piggy ride Romantic I'm not so But your acceptance Makes me wonder Who you are To love me So gently I am not afraid anymore Of the monsters under my bed monique |

A hand to hold In the dark night A story told With familiar light A release of pain without judment's fear Others finding the same soul seaching here Never again alone or afraid of my soul True feelings shown Starting to feel whole Home for the heart ache a port for the weary A release of the heartbreak Often leaving teary But all in all a place of peace A soft place to fall a place of sweet release **Thank you to all that have allowed their words of pain allow others to heal and to find comfort in the *arms* of your words** |
