              Another I

One day I walked the ancient shore,
Crunching shells on an ancient floor.
While waters of an ancient sea,
Immersed the very soul of me.

My mind was in the clouds on high,
My thoughts like distant birds that fly.
My body warmed the suns warm rays,
It felt to me the best of days.

This stroll, this dreamy fantasy,
This touch of whimsies ecstasy,
Gave birth a gentle plea of charm,
That suit the day and sloth of calm.

May the ancient sea and ancient sky,
Give birth the day I die, another I.

Seymour,
Wonderful work!!!  I love the reference to the sea.  It is true that we are all reborn the day we die.  What a lovely way to put it!!

Do you care what is thought by others about you

Do you live for the present, the future the past...

Sy,
How did I ever miss this? Guess I haven't been spending as much time at the computer and this must have slipped by me.
This is a beautiful poem, so imaginative with lovely thoughts. It's classic You
Love ya
