She is Maria

I just met a girl named Maria
and suddenly I found my life was not the same anymore...whoops..sorry..the lyrics from West Side Story somehow slipped in...
yet this is exactly the way I'll feel when I see Maria again.
I was always cool with her before
but now I have brand new hot feelings
and I want some more.
Maria, why did you wear that bright red blouse today?
You caught my eye and I can barely look away.
You look just like an angel cutie.
A fashion model with natural beauty.
I was sitting here minding my own business
and eating my steak and egg breakfast
then all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye
I see Maria walking by.
Now look at me looking at that silky black hair
and her beautiful face
and what else a sweet personality
loaded with charm and grace.
Maria...tell me why every time you walk by
you look so good in my eyes!!!

She is Maria
An angel in disguise
need my love and devotion
search for a sexual place to hide
as she conquers all my emotions.
Whoops...Maria...now you got Ricky Martin singing a lyric or two.
Hey..he's a very talented singer its true
and when you see his show on Sunday
he'll sing this song just for you.
Maria...I want to make you mine
I will always remember your tender lips melting into mine.
Those lucious lips filled wlith sweet spices so devine.
And as we embraced I can't erase the fragrant smell of fresh exotic flowers.
Maria...you are to me and will always be passions finest hour.
Yes...its true..I hope Ricky sings his song just for you the song he sings so well "Maria".
She is Maria...so lovely Maria.

Thank you dark angel for your wonderful comment.  It is Maria that is beautiful.
Janet you are a true sweetheart.  Maria is only a casual friend..alas I can only hope for more..but I do not expect more.  I am a man enjoying the beauty that God has placed all around me.   James

I stopped by the Islander and gave Maria a copy of this poem much earlier today and she sat across from me and read it and she really enjoyed it and gave me a nice kiss and hug...I thought she had went to see Ricky Martin at the Blaisdell Arena on Sunday but she told me her tickets were for Monday night...so I didn't get to ask her about the show yet...hopefully next time. James, I must tell you that I love the way you wear your precious heart on your sleeve, at least here at Passions. I feel as though I know you, just from reading your poetry and responses. Your commentary always makes me smile, think, feel, weep...a veritable potpourri of emotion. I so admire your ability to write about how you're feeling in the moment.

Claire your words are as lovely as a warm Hawaiian night
and as smooth as the breeze gently swaying the palm trees in illuminated moonlight.

James, this is great!  Even if Maria doesn't see through to that wonderful heart, I'm sure someone will!   )

Cheryl I'm glad that you enjoyed this and you are making me glad that I'm a man.
Thanks for reading Troy and for your supportive comment...she did smile and laugh while she read this and made some nice comments..and before she left a wonderful kiss form Maria.
Marie I am happy that you enjoyed this poem.
Butterflies you have given me a compliment that I love.  I emailed a copy of this to my son who happens to think he looks like Ricky Martin and he said he likes this poem and I should publish it.  He has put a portfolio together and is trying to be a model..so if anyone has any connections let me know.  He lives in Lakewood, California.   James
