Whats the solution
For my insanity
Its my new years revolution
To forget and move on
One eighth of my life on this earth
Was spent in love with you
Desperately searching for some form of rebirth
To no avail, I find emptyness
What doesnt kill me now
Can only make me stronger
But I often I question how
I will survive through this
But then I think...
I can handle this
After all I am a man
So I leave you with a quote
From a favorite emo band

"and i'm certain that if i drive into those trees, it would make less of a mess, than she's made of me..."

Ah, yes, I've been there too.  Good quote.  Deep, strong poem.  I especially like the lines: "What doesnt kill me now
Can only make me stronger".

this poem is exceptionally well written, you have expressed your emotions in this with a grace that touched me as I read it...
the last line quote was a perfect ending...
sweetly ironic and so true.
very nice work.
take care, jm

Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules
Do you care what is thought by others about you
If this day is all that is promised to you
Do you live for the present, the future the past...
