A repost. Slow down Slow down and think on what I say Or it will fly away. Slow down and feel the words at play Or they become passé. You hold the present in your hand The past has flown and gone. The future has no life or stand It waits its moments dawn. Just feel the presence of the day Hear the music all around. It's there to hear in every way In the sky and on ground. It's in the wind each moving breeze It echoes like a fife. It plays the limbs of swaying trees It is the sound of life. Slow down and sense your life bouquet Or it will float away. Ah, yes, how true, Seymour, and you say it so beautifully. I was just thinking on this today myself.....maybe children are so happy and carefree because they live for the moment...really know how to live each moment to the fullest......enjoying that bouquet.... I decided that I was going back to childhood!! And I plan to have a ball!! Denise |
