Sometimes you feel like you're not whole, and you lose track on your goal. You try to figure out what to do, but you're still left feeling blue. To concentrate, it's very hard; you give up and put down your guard. You feel like your upside down, but still, you can't get rid of that frown. You apologize to yourself; you try to forget it all, But you can't during this great fall. Trying to find another life to borrow, you can't, cause all you feel is sorrow. Thinking of what you hold dear, you try to face a simple fear. You kick and scream and start to cry, no one is there, it's not a lie. No one will help you face your fear, not a soul is very near. It's your doing, what's done is done, you feel like you're the only one. You're the one that's left alone, nothing else but skin and bone. Emptiness is what's inside you; you try to find a soul to run to. Thinking and thinking of what's been taught, the only thing you have fought. You try to bring it all together, as simple as this, as light as a feather. Something's lurking in your way, you feel it has something to say. It's moving fast, like the speed of light, you're shivering cold and full of fright. You try to run, but where to go? Your fear is your only foe. Fight it off, attack your pain, courage that is what you'll gain. If you succeed and put it all together, only you redeem what you have conquered. You reclaim what you once had; now you are no longer sad. Everything is up to you, now you know what is true. Take back what you had known; at least you know you're not alone. |
