DECADENCE

The vision comes in the night,
Two wrongs that make a right.
The sun hidden behind a light
Within a shadow.

If you open up the door,
You find just what you're lookin' for.
The echoes cry for evermore
For coming home.

Still, we walk along that line,
Where the sun ceases to shine...
Giving nod to the decline
Of our demeanor.

Till, alas, we sail the sea
In search of things never to be.
Where, in darkness, we find the key,
But ne'er the answer.

The echoes cry for evermore
For coming home.

The answer has always lain deep within your heart Michael...set it free...

Love your night-time pondering my sweet...

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

L.R., LOL - I always make it back sooner or later...

devina, My heart is opening once more.  I owe that much to you.

serenity - kinda can be a touchy subject too, eh?

Nan - YES they do... they're like a leaky water faucet at night that won't let you sleep!

PdV, LOL - I thought style went out the door on this one...  Maybe I should patent this and start a new poetry trend...

Ruth, I'm so glad you enjoyed.

Thank you all for the kind replies.
