Past The Moonlight
~*Marge Tindal*~

I will hold you in my arms
when the sun has lost it's light
Lay with you and love with you
through the longing night

Wrapped in throes of ecstasy
calling out your name
When the morning comes
we'll never be the same

Loved one come and comfort me
when the sun has lost it's light
Hold me 'til the dawn breaks
don't leave me in the night

I'll not ask anything else of you
I won't ask for you to stay
just let the dawn be breaking
before you go away

Reminds me of a song sung years ago, "Help me make it through the night".
Marge, you are a master of poetry and I love to read your responses to poetry others write.
Would love to know what program you use to get the great graphics and font styles.
Sure adds to your writing.
And, thank you for your nice words about my poetry.

Danny~
Thank you for the 'glowing' reply.
I guess I see such artistry in the
words we all paint ... so I try to
throw them on the canvas with color.

I will be happy to e-mail you this
evening with some basic info on the
graphics and 'paint'.  Most of what
I learned about the how-to's I learned
right here in Ron's Help section.
Take a moment or two and go there.
A wealth of knowledge he has imparted.
I will always thank him for challenging
me to LEARN how to use the tools that
take my words colorfully to the canvas.

Tess~
I so appreciate your response.

Denise~
I hope I ALWAYS catch you by surprise.

Marge,
I love your work! I adore love poetry and yours is wonderful! I have a question though, is there a limit to the lenght of submitted poems? I have a few rather lengthy ballads and would like to kow if it is permissable to post them here. I did enjoy your poem, thanks.

David2~
Thank you for liking what I write.
I think you'll find that love is a
very prevelant theme through a lot
of my writing.

There are many lengthy pieces posted
here in the forum.  I don't believe
you'll find a problem with the length
of your ballads.  We'd love to see
them.

If you have any questions .. please
feel free to go to the Q&A Forum and
post your question.  A moderator will
be more than happy to assist you.
Enjoy ...

Marge,
That was a very special and moving poem.  I really appreciate the feeling it gives me.  I can relate to the need for someone special, if only for a little while.  I love the atmosphere that you generated.  I want you to know that I really enjoyed you post.  Have a great day!

Wonderful poem; I espcially love the part above. It brings together the poem's message so well.

Marge, it sounds like we can "all" relate to the message of this lovely poem you've once again gifted us with. "Just hold me like you'll never let me go..." (as John Denver wrote...)  ...... sigh........

yes, I can relate....

wonderful poem, Marge...thank you!

Oh ... to even think this poem
would bring thoughts of John Denver
and his wonderful music to your mind ...
is one MEGA-compliment to this lady.
Thank you.
