Winter

As winterís icy fingerís spread their chill,
And send these shivers racing long my spine,
The comfort of your love must warm me still,
And blanket me within a calm divine.
The sun so burdened strives to light the sky,
As winterís darkest shadows cross its face,
My world is ever brightened by your sigh,
As darkness disappears without a trace.
The sleeping land withstands the frigid strife,
Of winterís bleakest storms that still the earth.
One kiss from you bestows the breath of life,
And loving you provides my world its worth

While winter reeks of turbulence and woe,
My warmth, my light, my life to you I owe.

*SIGH*

this is so romantic and full of imagery...

"One kiss from you bestows the breath of life,
And loving you provides my world its worth

While winter reeks of turbulence and woe,
My warmth, my light, my life to you I owe.

-----------

wow undying devotion...how perfect...
very nice work, take care, jm

 and you can say baby...
baby can I hold you tonight
maybe if told you the right words...
at the right time,
you'd be mine...
baby can I hold you tonight...

Forever In Your Heart

Frozen was thy heart, ice drops dripping down,
Your breath, your love, melted it all around,

Breath, my warmth,
My life I do inhale,

To sing my song for you,
The song of the nightingale!

Winters air does not keep thy love from glowing,
thy kisses are warm, even though it is snowing,

Love has left its mark, a spark, a flame,
Forever glowing ember,
Through winters cold pain...

Even though winter has left a cold mark,
Thy poetry has melted,
The ice from this fair maidens heart.....

†"Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O,no! it is an ever-fixed mark....William Shakespeare

Michael, his form is more than great - It's flawless iambic pentameter, and it's wrapped nicely into another romantic Shakespearean sonnet... Keep 'em coming, David!!..
