The Magic of Poetry

Amazing how
   something ever
painful
can portray
   something
so beautiful

ahhh…..
that's the magic
of poetry
    magical indeed
it is.

Enchanting,
        delightful
songs of the
heart, vivified
   painting
        pictures
in
our minds
placing footprints
      in our hearts
yes
poetry
    pain, beauty,
fantasy, love,

legendary

Isn't that so true!!!...and a million poems can talk about the same emotion and yet all be so individual and unique....

Dark Angel

Yes, sorrow is made into a thing of beauty, and we're all guilty.
Loved the poem

DA: True, in a strange way, there is even magic in the beauty of pain, because it means you can feel...when one reads of love, somehow pain and beauty are associated together...you show that so well with all you write...now how does one get one without the other? Or perhaps they really coincide..

Man, did I enjoy reading that! You managed to capture the essence of poetry and possibly put into words the reason many of us write it! Thanks,
