On the island of Fiji in the month of May
You can hear her voice dripping in the chocolate moonlight
"Jazzgal speaks!" I've heard the natives say
I've searched for her every day, but I'm going to find her tonight

I've heard her song on those sultry nights coming in from the east
It would start at sunset, play through the night and never cease
I would stay awake at night hearing that music soft and clear
Every night I would search for it, to bring that song near.

Again tonight, I hear her siren's song
And tonight, I'll find the music I've sought for so long
When I find her on that hidden shore
My search will be ended, and she'll weep no more.

Was it just me or did anyone else feel like jumping up yelling "Here I AM!!!"  I thought it was a beautiful poem.

I love the title to this poem, and as for the verse, a different subject, quite refreshing and very well written
