A rainbow's heart is surety
Embraced by every hue.
Chromatic rills of purity,
The path of course is true.

A solar smile on tempests shade
Casts vivid mantling hold.
Impaling mere dispersions bade
A rainbow's heart is gold.

Nan... the poem is lovely, the colors are beautiful... and methinks the author has a heart as golden as the subject. *S*

Heartfilled
Tones of color
Meandering through
Lines of poetic truth

Handfuls of
Treasures found in
Magnificent
Luminescence

Hey,

Mighty
Lovely indeed.

Hey Dave.. I agree with you about the yellow - hehe - How do you make a rainbow without it though?... I have lots more sonnets for ya - but you'll have to visit my site - or do a search here - I don't want to bore these nice people by posting them again... Thanks for reading...

Mel - Flattery will get you everywhere - You can certainly stay around for awhile..

Nice blending of color and words.  Now I know that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
