soft moonbeams falling
follow fingers through my hair
playing love's cadence

INclan, this sounds and feels so pretty when read aloud.

Hello INclan,

Your Hakiu sounds great.
If I knew the rules I would probably appreciate it more.
What are the rules?

Thank you PMC and Balladeer.

PMC, there is an email on its way to you with a brief discription of Haiku.

Balladeer, that is HIGH praise coming from you.  I fear that I have set the bar too high for myself in the future.

Best Regards,

This is truly beautiful

So much said with so few words.

Soft and tender and loving

and I'm feeling a little out of my depth here with all these wonderful poems being posted!!
BUT enjoying it all immensely
I guess I can only hope some of the talent rubs off!!

Beautiful imagery, I too would like to know the proper format for a Haiku. Would you mind sending them to me also? Thanks,
