     I hope you all won't mind,but i love sharing poetry.Anyway,here goes.

             Beauty

      A moment spent
        Basking in spring dawns
     A moment taken
        Holding a white rose
          to breathe of it's perfume
      These perfect moments of creation
         Have no comparison
Still i find in the instant of a breath
These are not as beautiful to me
Nor slight chill of winter scenes
      A night spent in contemplation
        That hillside dance of cadence
          In which the stars indulge
The perfect stillness of the breeze                In which a heartbeat
May capture the agelessness of trees           These hold not a candle                               To the strength of my love for thee                     These are not as beautiful to me
The silent whisper of the wings                  As a butterfly sips upon the nectar                  The ambrosia                                          of an elegant lily                                     the sweet night spawned fragrance                As the jasmine celebrates                             The eloquence of life and silence                The multitude of beauties
         the innumerable moments of perfection
These are not as beautiful to me

For that moment of your love                          When our eyes might meet                           That briefly glimpsed sight
When words have no need                          These are moments of rebirth                          And there is no comparison                         That the smile upon your waking                       Cannot wipe away                                  For your every breath in life                          Is perfection in my eyes

          Zach K.

A heartfelt "WELCOME"

This was a beautiful piece to start off with.  I hope to read more of your work in the near future.

Lovely zach, and welcome to passions!

As an aside, this formatting doesn't all for getting too fancy on layout, as you probably know by now.  (S)

"Thus shall ye think of all this fleeting world:
A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream;
A flash of lightning in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream."
