The stars glistened above a still, silent sea
She walked along the shore, a woman alone
Another romance ended, no one to blame but she
Still searching, searching for that love not known.

All she's ever wanted was someone to love
Someone Wonderous to share and fill her life
Someone that would be a perfect fit, like a glove
And take her heart away from this strife.

So now she walks alone, barefoot in the sand
Searching for the one to fill the hole in her heart
The healing touch of a lover's hand
She will find him, and make a new start.

Lovely poem, Sven.  I like the rhyme and the beach theme.  Speaks to me....

Sven excellent Poem.  You met this challenge with ease. Good Job

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."
