Post Mortis – Knowledge of the damned . In death, Is as life ? We ask, Reasoning beckons, Beliefs a cause, Your hearts religion, What makes you tick ? So when you stare down in the ripples, The spirals and circles, Decreasing in infinity, Do they ever end ? Is something left behind, Your ashes, Is that your only legacy . Physics and Maths, Are all very well, But gaps are left, Undefeated trenches, The unseen darkness, Where your imagination, And logic meet, Reality lies, In your strong minds eye . The chill and cold, Flows free, To ripple through your material body, And embrace your mind, Through out this all, Where is your soul ? Your rhythm ? Your rock and roll ? The blues that make you carry on ? Well I’ll tell you, Your soul, That rocking beat rolls, Keeps you living, It does all those things that your mind only sings, In your dreams, So when you pass on that’s how you’ll go on, In the hearts of the dreamers, Gone but not forgotten . Short and snappy lines that describe how the emotions are.That's the way great poetry is written and that's the way you write. Love it! |

What can I say that I haven't said already ... this sucks?!? Only joking. How about "I am not worthy"? The tragedy of it is that nobody sees the look of desperation on my face. Thousands and thousands of us, and we're passing one another without a look of recognition. |

Thanks both of you, and I disagree, I think that you are both worthy, and all poets have different styles, and yours are different, but not worse, Nice poetry I have been reading of yours recently, and every new poem I read has something else to intise and captivate my spirit and mind . AngelSwing~ Tom, this is wonderfully written. 'Where is your soul ? Your rhythm ? Your rock and roll ?'
