I had to reply again. I also like these lines:
What might someone breathe
to this hesitant heart
That would burn it anew
with a poet's flamed art?

This aching, just 'neath
the smooth surface of skin
Earthen eyes, mingled linens,
murmurs whispered within

I actually like all the lines...*S*

I love this part
"Fallen captive, alas
to wysteria's soft words
budding bountiful blossoms
need only touch to be heard"
What a beautiful spell you have woven here..and I'm left wondering too..will she find love..or remain sleeping?

"Love is the only drug you can take that will convince you each time
that you've never had it before."

Claire,
I love this!!  You always find a way to speak so tenderly. . .

What might someone breathe
to this hesitant heart
That would burn it anew
with a poet's flamed art?

I think that I know Claire, and I think that you know too. . .

Simply wonderful. . .
