Someplace - Sometime - Somehow
~Marge Tindal~

In some other place
some other time
I have languished in love with you
We have been before
where we are now
in love with a love so true

Some other place
some other time
another love so true
This is here
this is now
I'm still in love with you

We have walked this way before
The scene is still the same
I know the sound of your voice
when you call out my name

I have loved you before
but never greater
than I do now
someplace
sometime
somehow

What a very sweet comment.
If I've touched your heart ...
mine has also been touched.

Marie~
Thank you, hon.
I think they are just different ...
never better.
This one was about having loved someone in another 'life' or 'time' and 'place' and realizing that he has always been in my heart for all time.
I greatly enjoy what you write.

In another life, perhaps, Marge?? Very well could be. It's easy to believe in spirits passed from generation to generation and those are what we recognize and sense in others....

Could you have been Cleopatra?
And me Marc Antony?
Perhaps you were a geisha girl
Who used to pamper me..
Or maybe you were Gueneviere
And I your Lancelot
Or you were Eve and I was Adam..
Maybe......maybe not.

You might have been Maid Marion
And I your Robin Hood
Or maybe you were Joan of Arc
(I bent and lit the wood)
You could have been sweet Jezebel
Who made men's blood run hot
And I am still in love with you
Maybe....maybe not.

BEAUTIFUL, anything written with this kind of love can be no less. This is a lot like my poem I wrote about the aging couple and my wife. You though, expressed the meaning fully with very few words and it carried such emotion that I must say you and this other are very lucky. (if this is real of course)
thanks for the bright spark to my day.
