As The Season Turns

Chilling
      mine ache-drenched
          soul;
Bleeding
      mine heart
          o' love
       still sheathed
winter-she
   biting frosty
             to taste
        in eager lust
   o' mine hurt
on which feeds she
       ~ this time finale ~
Amazed I,
at the damn'ed pow'r
   o' justification
(feeling empty-cold)
   is it thus,
    that her
self-illusion
    lies sleeping
   too closely
      to reality?
eye to eye
   shim'ring
reflections
      o' she
exudes
     anger o' her freeze
           which
   deforms
        this world ‘round
    her
    frigid un-aware
an' so-
   in painful recognition
    o' truth;
   "as I entered
          through strength,
       so shall I
     exit-
    through fear..."

Beautifully written... and very unique (as Mariee said)  I'd take a stab at responding but I'm afraid that I may perhaps be interpreting it incorrectly.  I liked it though   very well written.

Chris~
Such an interesting pouring forth.
Intriguing.
Seasons of the heart do change ...
thank goodness.

Beautifully formatted.

Marie - Thank you, that was the express effect I was searching for!

Sam (molly) - It's my firm belief that a reader cannot misinterpret a poem! Thank you!

Devina - I'm ok, and waiting for the summer heat!

Marge - Thank goodness indeed! Thank you!

Man, I tell you what - you sure know how to slam a poem home.  This was awesome, Chris.  Knopw the chill and the fear aspect all too well.

I'm not going to tell you that this poem is fantastic! *though it is*

I'm not going to tell you that I love the form and the imagery! *though I do*

And I'm not going to tell you that you are a great guy who manages to write magnificently every time you sit down in front of a computer! *though I think you are!*

If the mark of a great poet is being able to come up with unique ways to express thoughts, you qualify without question.
