This is one of those things that was intended one way but came out another, so I just went with it.

(colors of a rose grows
deeper than deep
through the silken
skin of its petals)
Knowing not of who I am,
projected in thought
of what you think
the knowing is not,
unclosed to find
but blind to seeking
out the who I am.

Bedded and positioned
to fulfill your needs;
not touch nor moved
by earth shattering
expulsions of rain, yet
enclosed enough to
strike contentment
glad with open
and shut hands.
(Even a rose can
be persuaded by
the sun to spread
open its delicate bud)

Shelley, think I know the meaning of this. Interesting style you used, and the rose makes a good analogy.
Glad your writing.
