The darkness of the day
Slowly fades away
Falling to the wonderful light
Of a beautiful night

But the beauty of the stars
Shining from afar
Lights in the sky
made dim by your eyes

Dancing in the rain
My love you would gain
From the first night alone with you
I knew I couldn't live without you

From the first kiss
Ours was a love filled with bliss
It was all so perfect
And even now I know it was worth it

Everything I was to gain
Would far outweigh the pain
Now you're lost
Never to fade away like the cold morning frost

Forever I thought I would mourn
No other love to ever be born
Now the thought of you
Pushes me to continue

Life without you is such a hassle
But I know, one day we'll share a castle
And I'll play this game till I win
Just to see your smile again

First of all...

Welcome to Passions!

And second of all, this is a lovely poem.  It rhymes too; that's a feat for me and so applause for another talented poet joining the ranks of Passions.  We'd do anything to see someone special smile.
