I take you gently in my arms.
...and feel your warm embrace,
As light of heaven's stars above,
...shine down upon your face.

I see the glow of all my dreams,
...within your beauty there,
I touch upon moon's silver beams,
...as stroke your silken hair.

I hear sweet music of the muse,
...we dance throughout the night,
Free as the summer winds that blow,
...our hearts as one unite.

You are my goddess, Aphrodite,
...you touch within my soul,
And leave therein a satin bloom,
...a rose that makes me whole.

Am touched by splendor of the rose,
...as hear your siren's song,
Breathing in your fragrant scent,
...I capture all I long.

Elysian delights unfold,
...sweet treasures lay inside,
Then from the east the rising sun,
...day's portal opens wide.

As sun's first rays steal through the trees,
... morn chases way the night,
You gently place your lips on mine,
...I taste of love's delight.

I whisper softly to the wind,
...I'll love her evermore,
I'll sing to you love's madrigal,
...I'll love you evermore.

A rose by any other name... You've heard of the "Rose Queen"? I hereby dub thee the "Rose King"...

I love the style in which you write sir...so easy to read, and so easy to be swept away by your words...Not too many men are capable of doing that....writing with such intense passion.  Your words are so magical, they dazzle any who read.  Your poems are never long enough for me...just when I'm being swept away, they end!  LOL     Please, quit your day job, and write more!!!  LOL

Sing to loves song,
Thy heart longs to hear,

The nightingale awaits,
For thy whispers in her ear,

I have yearned for thee, thy style of poetry,
Forever leaves its mark,

unto this fair maiden, A Romantic Heart,
For you and I are not of this century,

We meet from days of the past,
From the era of Shakespeares time,

Where our souls were once entwined...

Breath takeing.....sooo romantic and beautiful, passionate, I copied this one for keeps!!

I really liked this its sooooo smooth and romantic..I was reading it out loud and when I arrived at the line "I whisper softly to the wind..I'll love her evermore" I was really touched.   James
