Rights Of Virtue

The authenticity to ones virtue
lies deep with in their soul.
No power on earth can invade
ones soul unless invited.

Others may perceive in their own
minds to have knowledge that
only you posses, but their wisdom
is with out power over you.

It is by rights of an individual
alone to hold the keys to his
soul, and only he has the way to
his own truths.

It takes a man of great virtue to
hold fast to his own wisdom
in a world filled with so much
power and greed.

On the day that this man passes
he by no means will depart
broken and shameful, for he him
self held the keys to his soul.

And in his passing he will be looked
upon by the world and all of
his acquaintances as a strong and
wise man with much  virtue.

Very interesting piece.  With so much truth and wisdom.
"it is by rights of an individual alone to hold the keys to his soul".
Thought provoking for sure.
Nice write.

"It takes a man of great virtue to

power and greed."  Those words made me think about my own self and some of our leaders.
Moral excellance seems to be lacking in our society today from the President right on down the line.  James

I feel this so much, what you put in words...

"No power on earth can invade
ones soul unless invited"

You have such strong convictions.  This is a remarkable poem Cerenity.  Wonderfully written and strongly felt.

Hi Danny,

I feel to understand that you have the right is half the battle, yes we give up are rights some times in weakness but that is to be human.   Thank you

Hi James,

You are so right and unfortunately most people do not see their actions until they once again sit at the bottum of the heap. When a position of power is held by a person with great virtue they are usely removed from that spot because of the power and greed in todays society. Thank you

Hi Denise,

How are you? Yep wisdom is usely one thing that is hard to optain but when you finally realize you have it you don't let go.
Thank you

Hi Poeminister,

Strongly felt because human I am and I love people and forget the wisdom I have fought so very hard for in the past. so slip sliding away I go, but I usely get a footing alone the down the line. Thank you

Cerenity

Cerenity~
This is virtual reality personified.
Others look 'at' ... wise men look 'in'.
Wonderful piece of work, my dear.
