Forever… A promise And a wish Wrapped into A single word. Lovingly placed Upon the soul To cherish Just as the heart beats. Uniting two As destiny plans With soul-shaking passion And weakened hand. To drink of lips So perfectly moist- Just as you Were made for me. I whisper Forever A promise, and a wish- Wrapped into A single word. Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

Devina, This one really spoke to me. I loved how you had the first and last lines of the poem saying the same things, as if reinforcing the "whisper". You have a wonderful talent. devina there is a forever for everyone,sometimes we fool ourselves into believing this is it with the wrong person. But when the right one comes along we will know it. Another beautiful poem with sad and happy emotions mixed I think. Look to the future... Marina |

Devina - I know we haven't talked in awhile, but I just want to say that I do wish you and *he* the best of luck...it does this 'ol cold heart of mine good to read what you two write back and forth to eachother...It brings back warm memories that have long faded. You two are good together, and I know you have been an inspiration to him - you both deserve love, as I consider you two to be great friends of mine. My favorite thought, there is a reason for everything, and the timing is crucial. I do think this time, it's right. Good luck to you both! Geesh, I got all sappy, and forgot to tell you how beautiful this poem was! LOL Truly inspiring, and I loved his "comeback" poem just as much! Love is truly *swirling* in the air!
