Gossamer Gown
~*Marge Tindal*~

On gossamer gown of crimson gold
the sun did kiss the night
soft spun rays of
ending days
resting
of the
light
sun
glows
and goes
beyond the
edge of night
and in her place
there comes a trace
of orb with crimson gold
again the moon has captured
the rays of sun's goodnight kiss
glowing with entrancing light
feathered by the stars
dancing cross the

milky way
all the way to mars
cresting beauty I behold
before she says goodnight
kisses again the morning sun
with rays of day's first light
nature knows just how to color
the beauties of our sphere
I'm thankful for eternal
light she shares with
us all year

Dear Marge

This is a lovely poem. Especially loved..

"again the moon has captured
the rays of sun's goodnight kiss
glowing with entrancing light
feathered by the stars
dancing cross the
milky way"

lovely lines marge.  You have such a unique, beautiful way with words in all your poetry..
always admirable

From Poeminister

 "...no single sound too rude
Upon thy slumber shall intrude,
Our thoughts, our souls- O God above!
In every deed shall mingle, love."

PoeMinister~
Your replies are always filled with encouragement.
My heart hears the words and my eyes see the beauty in them.  I paint.

Martie~
It is I who thanks you for liking what I do.
At sunset tonight ... again she will write her beauty for us all to behold.  The sunsets have been so lovely ... there is inspiration there for all of us.
I hope you take the time to share a sunset with me tonight.

Ahhhhh .... and mother nature takes a bow !
She did it again tonight ... kissed the night with shades of her beauty ... she just wore a different hue ... shades of pink and purple touched with golden delights.
Thank you for watching.

Marge, your words are verily a direct reflection of the beauty that finds you with each luxuriant sunset. That your heart is touched in this way by the nature before you is, to me, the true poetic expression.

I thank you, in earnest, for the gifting.
