I know that alot of times I speak to the open empty
air, not about anything important mind you,
but just about something I am trying to remember
as in a song I heard or a name I am trying to place
I'm not insane
When I twist my hands with anguish over the
changes in the people around me, they have been
turning into liars and I can feel the weight of
their eyes resting scornfully on my back
I'm Not Insane
Sure you can believe that others like you
because you are like them, with your skittering
little doglike feet scraping on the tiled corridors
not caring about the hair on my coats
IM Not InSaNe
tell me you are not lying when I can see the worms
crawling out of your rotting mouth, your eyes
rolling back like a shark during a feeding frenzy
trying to say that you want to help
iMMMMMMM nOOOt INNsAANNNeeE

oh and could you bring me back a gallon of milk?
