Forming clear, little droplets,
Meandering down the glass,
The drops get larger and heavier,
Falling faster, twisting less.
Hold my hand as we watch
Heaven’s tears trickling by.
I see your reflection in the glass,
Droplets mask the tears you cry:

Clear, little droplets;
Getting larger and heavier;
Falling faster.  Hold my hand.
Tears will pass.

We watch the storm together;
Feel the thunder in our hearts.
The rain pours harder, faster.
Lightening skips a startled beat.
I hold you close, look at me.
The storm will soon drift by.
I see my reflection in your eyes:
Your tears mask the tears I cry.

Clear, little droplets;
Getting larger and heavier;
Falling faster.  Hold my hand.
Tears will pass.

A very expressive piece of work, I especially enjoyed the first stanza.

Sorry that I haven't been back sooner, but thank you for all of the really nice comments.  It is good to hear from fellow poets.  Thanks again.

Very beautiful work, with a slight tinge of sadness woven within.  Exellent job!
