I took a walk last night
And it wasn't that
I wasn't feeling right.
I just had no feeling at all.

I looked up to heaven
Expecting nothing, really
When suddenly,
An angel flew right over me.

She smiled and winked
Looked me straight in the eye
And then in a blink
of an eye, she was gone.

I wish I could tell you
the clouds had broken.
I wish I could write down
all my thoughts unspoken.

But all I can tell you
is that there was something
wanting in me.
And now I know that things
are going to be
All right.

Beautiful poem.  Especially the bluntly written lines:

I wish I could tell you
the clouds had broken.
I wish I could write down
all my thoughts unspoken.

Nicely done.

Good poem, bboog! I like it that you accepted that things would be ok, without so much as a smidgen of proof!
