Quiet moments
held by heavy clouds
as the snow shadows
blanket the ground
Fat flakes swirl
clinging curiously
to a warm window pane
Snuggled on the couch
we watch sentimental movies
my head in your lap
your hands petting my hair
You stare at me
Daring me to meet your gaze
which I do
Cocoa brown pools hold mine
a small smile spreading
to create a dimple in one cheek
Your heart beating freely
within your eyes
I am frozen by your purity
paralyzed by emotions displayed there
I see your beauty
that I do not deserve
and I am terrified
My unworthiness
exposed within a single traitorous tear
swept away with a patient finger
Bathing me in that knowing look
you pull me into understanding arms
that never ask for more than I can give…

 I love the time
and in between
the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...

I see the errors...   Sorry folks...I kinda typed this off the top of my head and didn't check for mistakes...

Hope you can bear with me...

Exellent, Breathe!  I can relate to this in so many ways.  Very very beautiful.

btw- The errors are no big deal.  You can go back and edit whatever you wish.

I'M HERE and I LOVE IT !
It is just awesome,
refreshing and full of hope.

This is full of beauty in the lines ...
you've done a wonderful job of showing
tender emotions.
Yeah, I like it, little one.
