Another's Hearth

Now what is there to do
In this cold and blackening night
With this fire aglow inside me
Slow and burning crimson bright?

And what is it shall I wish
To the beating meter of my heart
With love's near empty trough
Spilling tears in bitter dark?

And what is there to be done
As my hands now ache and burn
To finally find their home,
To tenderly soothe another's yearn?

And where shall I find to go
Where my whisperings will impart
What is breathing alive in my soul
Before the fire of another's hearth?

Dear LadyClaire

Claire~

I stand in absolute awe at the
beauty of this piece.

The hearth of another is a
welcoming place to warm your heart.

Speaking of beauties ...
where did your picture go?

Balladeer...I know it's nice down there...but Springtime in Kentucky is Heaven.   Thanks for reading.

Martie...I am pleased that my work may have had such an effect...thank you so much for reading.

Marge...so glad you liked this one. I don't know where my photo disappeared to ~ I think I may have broken Passion's camera...

Seymour...thank you for the "beautiful" commentary.

This is excellent Meadowmuse, it aches in harmony with my beaten heart. Loneliness is a horrible feeling...
