You Could Have A Twin

I slowly gazed in your direction
as you walked away with her,
she was quite the catch I'd say
as you escorted her out the door.

Maybe you forgot the reason I'm here,
maybe I was wrong of the time to meet,
maybe this is the message you sent.

You could have a twin and this was him
and I am just mistaken for the moment,
that's gotta be it, so I'll wait till you show,
then I can tell you the story about your twin

Oh how I have waited like a fool on such events as these. Sometimes the message is clear and you know what it is ....and yet for the chance......that one chance we hold on. I hope this has passed and you have let go....because if not....I know the road in which you must travel to see it to the end. Bless you
