My heart tis heavy and my soul is weak
he does not understand these words I speak.
The flood from my eyes as if no end
endless wall of pain I hold within.

How can one hurt to this degree
does not the lord care for me?
Darkness fills the brightest day
no sun nor light to lead my way.

I smile outside and die within
how long can I portray this life I pretend?
Passion for life I fear to  regain
is this not my life for me to proclaim?

When will the sun fill my soul
that moment that I sieze control.
When the river carries my burdens from me
when all my heart and soul can be free.

CompGirl~
Just when you think the currents
are too strong ... the tide will turn.

Hang on.
Wonderfully written emotions.
